En mi trabajo artístico, la encáustica está siempre presente. Es una de las técnicas más sofisticadas, apasionadas y antiguas que conozco. Me permite, al mismo tiempo, utilizar y combinar materiales sencillos y fáciles de conseguir. Utilizo muchos elementos, aparentemente sin control, como cera y fuego. Me gusta este golpe sorpresa, de asombro por el resultado esperado, incluso arriesgado. Al procesar una idea, nunca termina en el trazo original. El fuego y el tiempo lo cambian todo, por eso me gusta trabajar temas que me hagan pensar en cuál sería el destino de las cosas cuando ya nadie las usa, cuando son solo parte del pasado ... recuerdos de cosas que llevan a otras cosas.In my artistic work, the encaustic work is always present. It is one of the most sophisticated, passionate and older technique I know. It allows me, at the same time, to use and combine materials which are simple and easy to get. I use many elements, apparently with no control, such as wax and fire. I like this surprise blow, of astonishment for expected outcome, even venturesome. When processing an idea, it never ends in the original stroke. Fire and time change everything, that is why I like to work on topics that make me think of what would be the fate of things when nobody uses them anymore, when they are only part of the past... memories of things that lead to other things.
